    Hi All,

I've picked up through trawling through posts that some options can be enabled with the right help from some kind individuals with the right tools and knowledge.

I am looking to order an A6 2.0 Saloon SE Executive S Tronic with the following options:
    • Tech Pack Advanced (really want the ACC and all safety options lane assist etc)
    • Lighting pack
    • Speed Limit Display
    • High Beam Assist
    • Front & Rear Heated Seats
    • Heated Steering Wheel

This puts me at my budget, but there are other options I would like, metallic paint etc.

I was just wondering if there was anything I could remove but "still get" and re-allocate those funds to other options.

    Any thoughts would be great.

    Simple answer None.
Probably better looking at it another way.
Heated steering wheel, do you really need this? None of my cars have had them and I can't remember a time I said I wish I had a heated steering wheel! Get a pair of £5 gloves from m&s and you will survive.
Heated rear seat, do you care about the rear passengers that much? Will you carry passengers that often to justify for the few months of the year that it will be used? If you cared that much why didn't you get the optional rear airbags instead?
High beam assist, not that great in my experience and only works above 40mph(60kmh) and I haven't figured out how to adjust this on vcds for the fl yet.
Speed limit display is on the satnav anyway and I don't get why people need something to tell them the speed limit. It should be obvious to the driver anyway.

So if you get rid of a couple of these there's your metallic paint paid for.
Get rid of them all and you could possibly get bose or some other gadget.
My personal favourite is the electric motorised boot so will have this over the high beam and speed limit.

Sadly you can't unlock any of the above without buying extra hardware which will cost more than the optional extra.

A6S, speed limits are not always obvious (dirty, hidden behind overgrown trees and bushes, missing, graffitied, hidden behind speed camera vans) and where there are temporary limits the Satnav will be wrong. For £150 and the fact the police have absolutely nothing better to do, its a fantastic option and worth every penny.

£150 is a cheap option! Probably the cheapest option I've ever seen 😄
