Morning all, I'm hoping that somebody can help me with checking the coding on my 07' A4 Avant Rns-e system.
It has nav, ipod dock in the glovebox, multi function steering wheel, kufatec Bluetooth and Bose system, it doesn't have a TV.
    The current coding is 0309716.

On the instrument cluster, channel 62,I currently have a value of 31, which I take to be instrument cluster (16)+radio (1)+ telephone (2)+nav (4) + telematics (8).

The reason that I'm asking this is that there are a couple of problems with my system, the main one being that the Rns-e does not turn on with the ignition nor can it be turned on without the ignition on, I'm aware that this could be a wiring problem but I thought it best to start with coding first.
I have control of the Rns-e volume and up\down track/station via the wheel and also voice control for cd/radio/next track etc.

Cheers in advance for any help anyone can give me!😀

That is not a coding fault, it is a harness fault. First issue is the power connection is a switched live and it should be permanent live for the RNS-E, ans the second issue looks like the can-bus wires are not connected or have issues.

    Cheers for the swift answer!
OK, I've dug up a connector wiring list from the Audiforum.us and I'll have a dig through later and check what I've got in the car, concentrating on power feed and can wires to begin with.
However, if anyone can advise on wether or not the coding is correct if appreciate that also.
