This actually helped me.. As the company I had actually asked to put these on would have actually gone ahead and put them on after telling me I had diamond Cuts in the Q7. It's only because had read this I asked him about the potentially of damage/corrosion etc. At which point he said I would expect some and it is upto me If I want to go ahead and put them on rather advise me of it from the outset.

Luckily the Goodyear Eagles that came on this ar quite think and should offer some protection against the dreaded inevitable kerbing

    So Thanks a bundle man!!

I'll tell you 2 things I hate when cleaning my car:

First is I am the only person who has cleaned that car since I got it and when you are the only one who touches it you know every mark, every blemish on that car and each week you wash you find a new little mark, stone chip or scratch that upsets you
The second thing is I hate water streaks and I find I get them under the wing mirrors, each end of the Crome roof rails and the rear bumper corners where the low reflective lights sit. I dry the car all looks good come back am hour later and water has run out and down from all of these places and it drys and leaves a water mark. Hate it lol

i am with 100%. My experience is exactly the same. I just spent 1.5hrs cleaning mine and I've spotted at least 5 new blemishes and stone chips.
    Ditto with the watermarks too.

There is loads out there on eBay etc but they are the better ones

am going to get one me self

really there better used as a rinse rather than through a pressure washer
it's not really needed to wash just the final rinse plus it saves the resin and lasts much longer

there is also you tube clips you you look them up

Since the siramik coat went on, I've found watermarks are less of an issue as the seem to sit on top of the coating and seem to dust off the surface with a gentle wipe with the soft drying towel.
