    Morning All,

I was on a drive back from the coast yesterday and noticed steam coming out of the engine.

My immediate thought was 'OH SH!T'...

Looked into the engine bay and the and there was a coolant hose leaking coolant directly onto the DPF (or what I think is the DPF).

I had the EGR valve and cooler replaced a couple of weeks ago - not sure if this is an issue that could have been caused by Audi at the time.

I'd like to get it rectified quickly - if it's just the hose, then I will get an indi to sort it out rather than going back to the dealer.

My concern is, if I allow it to continue to drip on the DPF, will there be any major issues? I doubt it will regen if it being cooled constantly. I will get it sorted tomorrow or the day after, but need my car for work.

Also, if anyone can identify the pipe in question (attached to the silver part - I assume this is a part of the EGR system, a part number would be amazing) it would be appreciated.

    Regards.

If it is that, which is a coolant hose into the EGR, then there shuold be a clip on it - you can see the marks in your picture where there was a clip but it is now missing.

That's the exact one - there is a clip as you mention.

Do you have the part code by any chance - I will get it ordered today.

    Thanks for your help!

    It's just a hose clip

    I think it is N 906 870 01

    27mm x 12mm

What's your engine code (four letters?)

I apologise - I meant the hose you referenced in your picture is the correct hose (i.e. the one that is leaking). My picture isn't clear, but the clip is there - I think it's camouflaged by the dark hose.

I can't get to the car now, but will provide the engine code when I get the chance.

OK, so you want the part number for the hose?
