When I had the oil pressure light it happened on the motorway, I think the reason the balance shaft failed is because I mixed oil with different brands dump mistake of me. Had to get the Balance shaft fixed by buying a kit which is a conversion an also had to buy a new turbo as there was no oil going to the turbo meaning kaboom, My turbo started to smoke up when it happened. The balance shaft kit only cost me around 200 pounds and its definitely worth it.

The balancer shaft issue has nowt to do with oil quality, it is pure engineering obsolescence .

Q. What shape keyway hole do you put in a the end of a balancer shaft to receive a hexagonal bar ?

Honestly I had no idea but before I we had the balance shaft done the garage replaced this hexagon key because it looked smooth and scratched and that they thought it was slipping instead of spinning.
