1999 VW Polo Radio Wiring

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade the radio in a 1999 VW Polo. Does anyone have a diagram which tells what colour wires relate to what in the factory wiring harness?

It's usually easier to get a harness adapter, to change from OEM><insert manufacturer of head unit here> - cleaner and easier to remove should you need to.

Thanks for that. I am a bit slow. I eventually found the Eurovox sticker on the radio and found a Eurovox wiring color table. http://www.eurovox.com.au/downloads/...m%20Update.pdf

However, when I pulled the loom I found the harness adaptor and the original coloring then was a help. and the installdr table was a help.

I then had to re-pin the new harness adaptor to match the Polo wiring, but all is now installed and working. Part of the issue is that the new system did not have dimmer options.
