    Morning all,

Need new tyres all round and been looking on Black Circles, Kwik Fit etc etc.

Currently Black Circles are doing a very good deal for Goodyear Asymmetric 2's (Asymm 2's) and I am tempted I must confess. Ran these tyres on my wife's Leon Cupra R and they were great but it's a different type of car with different handling characteristics so was wondering if anyone had run them on a C7 Avant.

Previously the car came with OEM Bridgestones which were absolute pants in my opinion (massive understeer, no feel or confidence in grip and noisy) and since then I have happily run Michelin Pilot Sports (2 and 3) which are better by a massive amount. However, the Goodyears' will save circa £50 per corner....

Any info from running a C7 in with these would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers

these were the tyres that came out the factory on my last c7 and I thought they were great. Quiet, comfortable and phenomenal grip in most conditions other than snow. I had the ao marked ones so not sure if there is much different between them to the non ao ones.
I actually prefer these to the Michelins on my current c7

I can only confirm what other said already. I have them from ~2 years on C7 quattro, size 255/40/19 and they are much better than previous Continentals. Quieter, better fuel economy and the grip is brilliant. A new model - version 3 is available now, but not in all the sizes yet.
