    Ok so are these DTUK Tuning boxes going to be safe with my 120,000 FSH audi a5 3.0tdi ? i use the car daily and am just a bit worried about the effects on the DPF, Turbo and general engine can you please give some valid advice? ----------------- Nice one and thanks.

    Excuse the curtness but yep, don't do it

    If it's a daily that's relied on and increased wear and tear on the vehicle is a concern, remapping it would not be wise.

    Me, I'd save my remap budget and put it towards any preventative maintenance that could be completed instead.

    Hello, can anyone tell me if they have one of these units fitted and out of the 3 maps which one they are using? plus any idea's which is the less aggressive map?

    according to dtuk, a rolling road session will tell you which is the best setting for your particular car..
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    Well, map 1 is the least aggressive.
    As for wear and tear i wouldn't worry too much with good servicing, and a quality oil. It'll give you extra power to use when you need it, so unless you drive like a maniac constantly it want cause issues.

    I use map 4 +1 on mine.

    just wanted to update. The 3 maps are SPORT, DYNAMIC and ECO 1,2,3 and i am running ECO which is really good, extra power throughout the rev range.
