Does anyone find this quite intrusive. As someone who brakes early and coasts to a gentle stop I am finding that when I get to a roundabout the car will have switched off and have applied the hill hold and I am still moving slowly with steering lock applied. It's great in stop and start traffic going straight but pulling out of junctions, roundabouts or turning right it feels like it kicks in too quickly.

    Mmmmm

One of the many reasons why I've disabled mine completely.

I thought it was a bit more user friendly than the BMW version - I do like the way that a slight push on the brake pedal applies the pkg brake while a firm push also stops the engine. There is an undesirable delay starting off at junctions but all the start stops I've encountered have that handicap.

Ive got used to modulating with the brake pedal - slight push when I don't want the engine to stop, proper push when I do.

I like the Auto brake hold but no auto start-stop then? -foot off the brake and the engine starts again?

As above you will learn to control it with gentle braking. If you're really gentle on the pedal the engine stays running, press harder and it cuts out. Perfect for me

Just new to the car and stop start but if you stop but don't put the foot hard down it stays on. just the opposite if you want it to start just ease of a little on the brake.

TBH I done the vcds mod where it remembers last switch position.

I use the hill hold feature ( button behind the handbrake ) and when you stop it stops the car rolling forward and the engine stays running, when your ready to go just accelerate and away you go. Easy
