I replaced my MMI dvd/sd player and asked Carrs Audi Truro if they would remove component protection, NO was the answer, asked Audi Exeter and Plymouth, same answer a definite no.

I found AVS service centre, Redruth, no problem they said, took it along and it was fixed in an hour charged £48 inc. vat.
