    Hi,

Seen as I bought my first Audi I thought I'd join a forum for advice etc.
The model I bought yesterday was the A3 1.8 T sport 1999. Cost 3k and has 87k on it.
On driving home (from london) i noticed a judder under braking, it's just had new discs and pads front and pads rear - so i thought it must be a warped rear disc.
Apparently not, I took it for a brake check and said brakes were v. good, said it may be the bushes, not so bad i thought, then he told me the arms are made of cast aluminium and there are eight of them and it could be those!
Driving around I can now notice it feeling a bit slack over some bumps.
Anyone any ideas if the arms are likely to be knackered? Hopefully, just bushes.
Am I in for a shock re prices?

    Thanks anybody.

    Simon
