    That's ok, sometimes the code also could be ur turbo vanes clogged up with soot and needing a good wire brush and clean.
    The thing is if you guess then it becomes a money pit, best to really take it to a reptibile company unless u are knowledgeable yourself.

    A vcds is better than alot of the stuff of cheap auction sites and can pick up on better results.

    I keep reading on the web that it could be related to timing and you have to take the timing belt off to put on the new fuel pump , could it be that simple ?

    hi mate
    thought id keep you posted, just had the wife's mate husband round and the actuator is not holding any pressure at all so fingers crossed it could be that.
    I also unplugged the maf and went for a drive and the car is the same to drive so it could be that too
