    cant really hear the turbo but never really noticed it before
    cant see any smoke
    I barrowed a code reader from a friend but no codes found but it is only a cheap one from ebay

    If the turbo don't whine or blow out smoke or you oil level in fine then I wouldn't worry about the turbo.

    Open the bonnet have a friend rev the car and listen out for a hiss vac leak

    Check around your intake, turbo and intercooler for leaks.

    Regarding the maf, check all wires and perhaps do a voltage read. You can also buy maf spray

    hi
    just had my wife revving the car but cant hear anything
    all I can hear is the engine noise ,not got the trained ear like you lot on hear
    it all just sounds the same to me


    going to Halfords to buy maf cleaner ,how would I go about cleaning it ?

    is egr cleaner the same stuff looking on Halfords web site cant find maf cleaner
