    Hey Guys,

I've recently had the Emission Control System light on my dashboard turn on briefly in my Audi A4 Cabriolet (2004, V6).*
It turns on and then off again.

I've read the fault codes but am not that knowledgable so was hoping you guys could give me an idea what I'd have to expect if I were to bring it down to a mechanic. A vague idea whether it's a minor issue or potentially expensive would be great. And whether there is any DIY I could do on it?

When I delete the codes some of them come back usually the 7 below.

The car drives a bit jerky sometimes but overall works relatively alright. I've stopped driving it for now until I find out more.

Looking forward to any help/advice I can get. Thanks guys.

Please find the fault codes listed below with a link to Ross-tech:

Recently when trying to check it I've also had the following code show up instead of the Cylinder 4 misfire:

16825/P0441/001089 - EVAP Emission Control Sys: Incorrect Flow
    http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...5/P0441/001089

Last but not least occasionally have gotten the following fault codes as well:

18149 - I believe this one means "Clutch Pressure Adaptation: Limit Reached"

18181 I believe this one means "Hydraulic Pressure Sensor 1 too large"

If you require any other information please let me know.
    Thanks again!

change all the spark plugs firstly

then look at coil pack(s) depending on what you have fitted
    VW POLO 2002 1.2 12v , Audi A6 2006 2.0 TDi SE , Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDi

Thanks for your reply Niall, I will take that into account when seeing my mechanic in the countryside next week Thursday. Will be busy with work until then. I will not be driving it until then.
