Passat B6 and B& towbars - help please.

Hi, I hope ive put this in the correct area. but will a passat b6 towbar fit a b7?

Seen a few conflicting answers on-line (i know its online). Ie some say the witter vw58a will fit a B6 and B7 and some say no.
I'm only after a fixed flange one to fit a Passat B7 Sport Tdi B-motion Tech estate, mainly for occasional towing and to fit a bake carrier. And I guess dedicated wiring is best which is cost ill have to swallow but assume its best over bypass.

and this shows vw58a for passat's estate, saloon etc years Jan 2006 to .....no end date. does that mean at the time of print IE 2013 it fitted all cars upto 2013? this including the B7's.
the other one ive been looking at "VW73" from various websites states the same info. both are meant to be flange fixed tow-bars i believe.

Ive also seen a Westfalia which states Model Exclusions of; not Diesel or Blue Motion models. is this normal?

Tow-Trust TVW6 is another one ive looked at.

Hi, The VW58A is the fixed flange bar for the upto 2011 model and the VW73 is the Fixed flange bar for the 2011-2015 model, you could give us a call for some more info and options?
