Thing is my car was sailing through it's MOT's, but the way I figured to start this work was due to the 200K mileage. Any car that has that sort of mileage in the weather we get in this country, and the rubbish roads we have it all adds up. I would have never found the shock mount, wheel bearing & some of the rust as these parts are hidden so will never get picked up by the MOT. As I said with all the arms in place the movement on each arm using an MOT pry bar was very little, but then you cannot apply the same sort of forces that a 2 ton car generates during breaking, accelerating & cornering.

By the way, I am on 112k mileage at the moment...
