Hello peeps, new member and a complete numpty when it comes to cars.

Been driving A3's for the last 7 years and have always changed in warranty except this one.

Driving home from work 2 day my temperaute gage started creeping up to about 110 - was doint 70ish on the motorway - slacked off to 60 and it started dropping back to 90 and i stayed at 60 for approx 30 miles and during this time it was going up and dow between 90 and 110.

pulled over and looked at the coolent bottle and it was at max and the water inside looked fine - no bubbling.

Got home and rang a local garage and described this and they think water pump.

    any thoughts.

    its a 2003 a3 sport 1.6.

    Cheers..
