Sorry to hear that Mitchy. I hope i don't have the same issue with audi. My plan was if the dealerships don't sort it soon, to also write an official complaint to audi uk, but it seems you didn't get far with that.

I'm hoping I get lucky like Scott and the problem resolves itself.

Dear All

Just an update on the noise my car is making. I booked it in for the third time with Audi this morning, good news there is a fix for the noise and it will be done under warranty. Audi are getting the parts , will take up to 10 working days and i'm getting my discs, pads and this part that caused the issue all fiited under my warranty. This part has something to do with the rotars and it has caused un-even wear on the discs and brake pads causing the noise. Thats the explanation I got. Not been to the delaership yet, told this over the phone.

I hope this helps with anyone else with similar issues. The dealership where very good with me in fixing this problem, fanatastic service to be honest.

that's a great result to get disks and pads replaced under warranty (for front only?), I also have 21" rotors so would be keen to know what the particular part is that has caused the uneven wear,

They mentioned a back plate, which is running and causing the noise and uneven wear in pads and discs. They are replacing all four.

For a simple issue like that ??
But then why all 4?
