    Audi Allroad, 3.0TDI, 2007

I've just replaced the internals on the driver's side (UK car!) inlet manifold - the dreaded swirl flaps.
It just went too well; after 2 hours it was back together, with only one socket lost to the under tray.
As expected, the car took a few seconds to start first time, due to air in the fuel pipes.
I've started it several times since, each time its taking about four seconds to start - far longer than normal. I've taken it for a test drive, seems fine, but each time starting takes longer than normal.
When it does start, there's no judder or rough running, all seems fine.
I've only got a handheld code reader, no fault codes showing.
Apart from a proper scan, any ideas? Thanks.

When I replaced my swirl flaps, I noticed this too but it cleared after a day or two. I put it down to a little air still trapped.

Thanks Mr Lukenkari, you were absolutely right, panic over, car is starting normally today.

If anyone's considering the job, I found the guide to be particularly useful:

Can the swirl flaps be mapped out ? Mine are fine but im thinking of preventative action for something which sounds fiddly and expensive

I don't know enough about them to advise about mapping out.
however, if you're fairly confident at slandering, there are enough guides around to help you change the innards of both sides for just over £100 and a couple of hours of your time.
