    Roofbox.Co.uk. the thru bars are a better buy as if you change cars you can slide the mounts in or out if car rails are wider or narrower

    Forgot to add that you will need to buy T bolts for the whispbars to afix the topbox. U don't use u clamps. They are not expensive and roof box sell them for a couple quid

    Those are the bars I'll be getting once I swap to an A6. It's good to see them on an actual car not a promotional photo.

    I'd rather the A6 had proper roof rails not the flush ones so the bars sat between them, but those are still much better than the alternatives.

    These fit very snugly. The 'feet' clamp around the rails and the rails themselves have holes for the pins on the feet to locate into

    I too recommend the Whispbar and I also went with the Kamei 475 dual-side opening from roofbox.co.uk . had them on three vehicles over the last 6 years and only had to change the feet for the A6 bars.

    Right I'm thinking on pressing go on a Farad F3 480L its 200 down on the 680L of course but I think it's better a fit/size....

    Made this image up to size it to the car..
