I have used RainX for quite a few years now and was wondering if other people use it at all.

They now do a RainX Wipe, has anyone used it at all?

    http://www.rainx.co.uk/

When driving above 50ish in heavy rain the wipers can be turned off as the rain disperses really quickly. In lighter rain or spray you have to be going 70+ really (if Allowed that is)

anyway, let me know your thoughts

Used it, would use it again, not using it at the moment, a pain in the.... to apply but worth it.

    It has my vote.

Used it once a few years ago and found it worked great at 30mph+ but if you had to use the wipers it would give your a big greasy smear trail across the screen so you couldnt see a thing until it cleared, and then the wipers returned & you couldnt see again, and so on and so on!! Needless to say I didnt use it again! The interior anti-fog stuff though I thought was great, although you can polish a little washing up liquid onto your screen or motorbike visor & get the same effect for cheaper!!

Completely agree with this. And the container was very suspect too - pink and phallic shaped if I recall correctly.

Yup, have used this for a few years now. I agree it's a bit of a pain to apply as if you don't buff it enough your windscreen is a bit smeared, but that seems to clear when it rains once, so it's deffinitly gets my vote!

Is it any good for rear windscreens? My A4 is the first saloon I've owned and after years of hatchbacks I miss not being able to clear the back windscreen.

Does it work even if bugs and flys get stuck to it.... I've got the biggest fly trap on the motorway, and regularly have to scrap fly carcusses (sp?) from the windscreen and bumper.

It's great for all of your glass, including rear screen.

The bugs are a problem - they come off a bit easier with it than without, but, it doesn't have the same performance when your fly trap is full
