The time has come up for first major service... (34k variable service). As the car will be coming out of warranty, It also requires it's first Mot. What sort of prices I should expect to pay at the main dealer in West London?
Anything else I should be looking for, before the warranty comes to an end in March?

I just had a quote from Audi Sheffield for £560 for second service, 36,000 miles. I'd expect London to be £50 ish more.

I went to a local Audi specialist and he did me a quote for the same work, came to £225. I took it with me to the main dealer on the day of the service and they matched it through the Audi price match promise. I promised the local specialist I'd take my car to him for brake pads etc in the future.

I'd have to check but my BiTdi allroad is on fixed servicing and I'm pretty sure I've not seen a bill over £500... it did have a service a few months back - I'll dig out the receipt (in the car and too late too look without disturbing wife)
And yes it is late - jet lag again, just got back from US

On my previous car I found that Walton Audi were less expensive than Audi West London ans as they were the supplying dealer anyway I used them. Remember at 3 years you will need to factor in the cost of a brake fluid change on top of the basic service and they will also probably try to include an air con service and pollen filter change. If you have the S-Tronic box (ie you do not have the BiTDi version) then I think there is a transmission fluid change due before 40k miles so you will probably want to have that done at the same time, although after the car is 3 years old it may be cheaper because you can use the Audi Fixed price servicing, possibly a point of negotiation when booking the service - "do at that price now or I will wait a few weeks and then you'll have no option".

Mine was £513 at 2 years and 38,000. The brake fluid should be about £60 on top of that and the s tronic is £170 ish. If yours is out of warranty, I would be tempted to change the air and cabin filter yourself and let them do the oil and filter, fuel filter, brake fluid and transmission if it is required. My dealer charged me £20 for the oil filter but I can buy it from another dealer for £8! Mine is still under warranty though do I want the stamp. At £59 I will let them change the brake fluid as that is pretty cheap. Will do my brakes and pads myself though!

By the way, you could get a health check and MOT done then use the fixed price servicing once it is over 3 years old. Major service £399 excluding the brake fluid and transmission.

Just got my quote: Service ( fixed price) £429. Fluid £59, s tronic £175, Mot £50. ( all inc of VAT) Is not that often that I miss my old Ford Mondeo, however seeing these prices - I do... Although, because it's on extended life service, which with my mileage will take me to two years, it will probably not be that far off from the Ford, which needed a service every 12.5k miles.

This is the big service at least it's only every 40k. The next major service you won't need s tronic or fuel filter.

    What's involved in stronic service?
£175 for gearbox oil change seems steep.

Think it's about 5l of fluid and change the filter. Probably pretty good value as the fluid is about £12 litre. If you do it yourself, you need to remove the undertray, drain oil, fit new filter and refill. There is a special tool for filling but I think it can be done without it. I would think it will take about 2 hours the first time you do it.
The other thing to bear in mind is that Audi have been pretty good with out of warranty gearbox claims if it has been serviced at the correct intervals. If it goes wrong it's expensive but they do seem to be getting more reliable.
