Hi all,
I am new to this site and infact forums in general but desperation has driven me to get involved.
I have an Audi A6 C6 2.7 TDI AVANT on a 55 plate. Ive had the car for a year now and love it but, a couple of months ago it came up with a parking brake malfunction message along with ABS on on side and a picture of a car skidding on the other. I must point out this is an intermittant fault and does not seem to affect anything. At first it came up every few days or so and went away once tbe car was switched off but, recently it is getting more frequent and over the past couple of months i notice it always comes on when it it is or has been raining.
I have scoured the net for info but, no one seems to mention an intermittant fault of this kind. so before this fault occured i hadf a new battery, discs, pads fitted and yes I had the battery coded to the car. I have checked the connectors to the rear electronic calipers and they seem to be in good order but dont know where else to go from here. I know taking her to audi is probrably the best option but, its nearly impossible to book it in due to my work leaving me only Sunday afternoons to myself.
Please could anyone who has had the same issue or knows what to look for, shed any light on my very irritating situation.
Thankyou in advance.
