Intercooler pipe blowing off 2.0tdi 8p 140bhp

Hi everyone I have done a lot of research on here regarding this issue I have, I have a 8p 2.0tdi and my intercooler pipe drivers side keep popping of with a whoosh when going over 4k revs. So do I replace pipe or whole intercooler and if I do intercooler is there any upgraded intercoolers with direct fit but not too expensive. Sorted now found that pipe has 2 nuggets on and one had worn off completely. £100 for part at Audi £15 at scrap yard bargain and it's good condition
