    Hey everyone,

    I'm up to doing a nav retrofit as I recently purchased a 2005 A6 with MMI 2g-High.

    I've found that the nav module I need, that being P/N 4E0 919 887 (C)

I'm having an issue finding which cables I'll need to wire it up however, there seems to be so many. Does anyone have any part numbers or locations to buy them (that don't cost the earth)?

    Thanks in Advance
    Callum

Yes, that would work for the wiring side, you just need to fit the GPS antenna. If you need any help with the retrofit give me a shout I'm over in Darlington can also help with VCDS coding etc.

I appreciate that offer. I will require help with the VCDS as I don't have a laptop! My car has the shark fin on the roof so I assume it has the GPS antenna wire somewhere?

It should have a blue fakra connector near the shark fin, but there were BT only shark fin's so you need to take a look to see if you can see a blue connector, you will then need fakra cable to connect from the blue connector to the back of the nav unit, I can make them if you don have one.

Do you have an Avant or saloon?

It's a saloon. Where can one find the fakra extension so you don't have to go to the trouble of making one?

By the shark fin, does this mean in the headlining or is it in the C Pillars?

Do I need female - female, and if so, roughly how long? Will 1M do?

I apologise for all the questions

That all, but I would check the sharks fin first before buying.
