Hello need some help my 06 A4 2.0 tfsi keeps blowing a fuse located under the ecu in a yellow fuse holder I don't no what fuse it's for but every time I put my foot down or turn the esp off it blows the fuse and kills the car causing it to not start? I'm not getting any engine management light up I've checked for codes and nothing? Does anyone no what the fuse is for as it's not marked anywhere?

Thanks will look into it. Surely the car would stall in neutral at high revs aswell though? (It doesn't by the way revs fine?) It literally only happens when I accelerate fast if I drive normal is fine

Depends really you could have a crack/split which when the car drives and vibrates The wires so a couple maybe touching. Melted wires are common issue,

Some of the other pros like Keithuk or chittybangbang etc may know of any other common faults, but at least you have somewhere to start good luck

Had a closer look today, the coil packs seem aright no loose wires ect but after pulling all of the plugs there all white so running lean? I've just replaced the fuel pump so can't be that?

White, have you washed the engine? Sometimes that can indicate water is it kinda chalk looking?

Now can't be the fuel pump, have you got all your earth wires in place I mean none have been broken or split when changing pump?
