    Hi all,
I've got an 03 Passat TDIsport PD130, that up until our recent driving holiday to Greece, had a cool butch sounding horn. Now its gone all girly sounding. Does anyone know if these horns can be adjusted, like on cars from a previous generation, or is it a replacement job ?
Thankee kindly, in advance of all helpful replies.
    Regards,
    Russ

    It's a dual horn system.

One behind each of the lower front grilles. Take them off (they pull out) and get a friendly person to slam the horn while you check which one has stopped working.

    Go from there

My horn recently turned queer too. I have looked behind the foglights by removing them and can't see them even when I use a mirror and torch and stick my hand in to feel behind.
Can there be another place? Did they change the location depending on model year?

The lower outer grilles just pull out with a sharp tug.

The horns are in and to the left and right of the rad. They're round discs with a plug to the rear. One on each side of the rad.

Not much more I can say to help you find them, they're just there

If you're still struggling I'll take some pics tonight.
