Map update available according to MMI, can't find it on myaudi.com

You can do an update directly in the car using your home wifi, simply use your phone for data rather than the in dash sim, make sure your phones connected to your home wifi and of you go.

But then you'd need rSAP. I have only iPhones.

What's the point of a map update. Just spent about an hour doing an online update. Updated England naps but still a major new road is still not on the map, my tomtom got the new road the day it opened.

The MMI on my 2015 model popped up with an update the other day. Data SIM is not an option so using my Android and home WiFi is probably the only route. Not sure how it works for iPhone users though.

Check on myaudi.com but I think I read somewhere that you can download the map to an SD Card via your PC and then update the car using that rather than having to use the data connection in the car

How long does this take on 4G?

My sim shares my iPhone's data allowance (20gb) so I'm not bothered about the size of the file, only the duration for downloading it.

I messaged Audi service last week and they responded on Saturday to say that the option has currently been removed from the myAudi website and won't be back until at least Wednesday of this week!
