    Hi mate

Had the same problem with mine. Turned out to be the relay which is located above pedals.

Cost £29 plus VAT from ******** and is a 10 minute job to replace.

is the delay adjuster switch a little switch on the end of the stalk? My Seat had no auto wipers and had the little switch.

I don't think mine has it and mines an SE with the winter pack and all the extras.

I know that they dont work automatically if you leave it in the "auto" position when leaving the car - upon returning you need to flick it down then back to "auto" to engage it.

The delay switch doesn't work "as normal" if you have a rain sensor. If you have no rain sensor, then there are 4 levels of delay you can switch to, using the knurled wheel on top of the right stalk. If you have rain sensors, the wipers work when the sensor tells them to, regardless of what position the knurled wheel is in (fast or slow). That's how they work on my Bora sport 150 tdi.

my bora's wiper delay makes a difference and i have rain sensor.

it basically sets the sensitivity of the sensor. if you have it to the far left, (towards the steering wheel), then that's set to the least sensitivity (and so the wipers go as slow as possible).
