"Recent solid mass flywheel conversion from dual mass, meaning it should never need a new clutch"

My understanding of SMF is that it's way cheaper than DMF, but can be bit jerky due to being a single disc and no spring coils to absorb the jitter at clutch engagement. Is this one of those debatable topic with no right or wrong answer but simply a personal preference?

until the lush dmf was invented all cars had a smf. a conversion can be good or bad. some people report broken gearboxes and rattling teeth, some people get on just fine with them. it wouldnt put me off just so long as on a test drive my teeth didnt fall out, and the fact you save 300 notes minimum if it did fail, which it wont cos its not got one.
