I fitted new front disks and pads from euro car parts to the tdi.... Ever since i now get a clicking/clunk sound from the front offside 80% of the time i brake... Ive checked its all tight, ive removed and refitted, and the noise is still there...

Whats the chances of it being faulty parts, i was conisdering play in a ball joint, but am sure its more brake related

if that was the case then there would be a problem on both sides mate, not the one. am sure they are fitted correct, checked enough lol. can only be poor quality parts or worn calipers

Maybe then you may want to search this forum regarding noisy pads etc and read the replies especially about cheap pads

Good luck asking him that I suggested that to him and basically got told I was suggesting a stupid idea . But he did get cheap pads from ECP. Rather than pay for quality brake pads from a dealer.
