Noticed yesterday that this varied from + 2*C when I set off before dropping to -6*C before dropping back down to -1*C just before I stopped. As the temperature was around 10 - 12*C, and it's never happened before, something is wrong. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so what was the cause / cure?

Sounds like a failed outside temperature sensor.

Thanks for prompt response. The reason I've delayed in replying myself is that when I used the car the afternoon after posting my query, the DIS temperature display was back to normal and has been ever since.. So, just a momentary glitch or a sign the sensor is on the way out? Time will tell, thanks again for response.
