    Hi
I have SE trim with standard headlights without lens. I would like to swap them to the one with lens(not xenons). Can you tell me if it is plug and play? If not what needs to be done, any coding or the worst do I need audi components to be changed? Do I need any additional wiring? I was told that mine headlights come with 10pin socket and the others with 12pin. Is it true?

What do I need to look at when buying from ebay?

    Any information would be welcome.

    Thank you

not a straight swap, wiring changes, coding changes and a possible bcm upgrade if yours isn't pinned for the shutter.

if you say not xenons, which ones do you mean? the full led ones? you will also need headlight washer system.

NO full LED one. With the lens on H7 bulb without the washer. Everybody says that if it is with lens it is Xenon. It looks like xenon but it is normal H7 headlight but with lens only. Like this

Ignore that this one from LHD.
It can not be so much complicated to change.

is d3s bulb the same as H7 bulb. If not I am talking about the headlight that looks like xenon (with lens) but is with H7 bulb. Did you see thatsort of headlight in Audi C7? Like this car

    Audi A6 AVANT 2.0 TDI S Line 5dr Multitronic

I believe if this car had xenons he would mention this in description but is not mentioned.

no d3s is not the same as h7. the d3s is a gas discharge bulb.

the xenon light has a small inner bulb which acts as an all weather light which is a h7 bulb.

Or if you have about 50 of them fitted in each side like factory fitted sets.
