    Hi All
Recently i notice I find it harder to see at night from my headlights. Now that may be down to my 54 years of age eyesight ,or my 2009 ,120K miles A6 .
Passes MOT and no front end damage.
Looking into the problem it may be the bulbs and ballast are now past their best.
Has anyone had a similar experience and had any progress in resolving?
    Thank you in anticipation

Not had issues myself but have read quite a bit on land rover forums where people reckon new bulbs fitted and made a huge difference to the light output.

My friend fitted Hella EVOX-R projektors and on facelift c6 where H7 is "for blinking" modified those to be extra highbeams- he was happy with result!

My guess will be 7 year old bulbs, they do deteriorate over time/use.

A vote for Evox-R projectors from here also. I made the mod two years ago to my pre-facelift and been happy with them. I first tried new bulbs but they didn't help much as the reflective coating in the old projectors was burnt off and the full beam was totally worthless.

If you do decide to try new bulbs your better off sticking to the original Osrams.I've put Philips extreme on(4800k) at beginning of the year and I'm struggling to justify the £170 I paid for the pair.Just try getting a new pair of bulbs first and go from there....
