Oil Cleanup After Massive Valve Cover leak

Good Morning,

It's very heavy on the drivers side and under side of the vehicle. I'm thinking I might have a oil filer seal leak as well but I won't know until after this job. I'm sure its quite a few people had to do a similar cleanup so I'm looking for tips. I have some foaming degreaser but I'm wondering about how sensitive are the electrical components. I've heard someone use Simple green. I don't think its one part of the engine that doesn't have oil on it.

steam cleaner, or cold jetwash, some chemicals, traffic film remover, jizer, gunk etc, whatever they sell in detroit. you could even use a hosepipe. yes, the electrics are sensitive, but your car is designed to drive in all weather conditions and everything is pretty well sealed.
