    Hi everyone,

I'm after some reviews on the mk6 VW golf 1.6 tdi if possible as I love the car and am looking at buying one as our next car to upgrade from our 1.4 tdi polo.

I'm unsure as to whether to buy a 1.6 tdi or 1.6 tdi bluemotion?

I've heard the non blue motion model is better and much more reliable?

    Thanks all

    Craig

    Hi, Thanks for your reply,

My Wife goes to work and back in it 3 days a week which is a 10 minute journey each way then we probably do about 50-100 miles at the weekends. Our annual mileage is about 10,000 - 12,000 a year as we do a couple of thousand on trips to france a few times a year?

Personally I would go for a Non BMT then you don't have to put up with the very annoying Start Stop system.

Or just turn it off by pushing the button or disabling it via Vcds.

Really? That'd be nice but unless something has changed there wasn't (in the past) a disable option.......

I'm sure someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I saw an option in the long coding helper.
