    I am always a fan of ambient lighting, unfortunately my car is not factory fitted. So I decided to add one myself. I bought a 3 meter 12V powered EL wire from amazon, connect it to headlight fuse. Pretty simple work, not bad result.

    Looks well although is it not very distracting brightwise compared to the OEM offering?

    It is not as glow and as bright as in the photo, I find I am OK with it.

    I quite like it, reminds me of the camaro we had in the states. I'm with Chris on the brightness though, it needs to be dimmed imho.

    It looks very normal in the day, you don't really notice it's light up in daylight, this is what I bought.

    5M Blue 2.3mm Diameter EL Wire Light Tron Neon Glow Rope with 12V Transformer Inverter Car Charger, for Christmas Light Party,Club Bar Decoration: Amazon.co.uk: Lighting


    I cut the car charger and direct connect it to fuse box
