Installed DAB now MMI not working.

Car is audi a6 c6 sline 3.0tdi 2005 .Installed a DAB radio module (kenwood audi original unit) never had a DAB aerial but booted it up anyway.Showed DAB on MMI screen but no signal due to no aerial .The car was then left in garage for couple of days where battery went flat so charged it up.Got DAB stick on window aerial so put that on and plugged into DAB unit.Went to try it out and bugger all,no MMI display apart from start up screen and no lights on the MMI consule buttons.What have i done wrong.Tried MMI reboot nothing ,toke of battery for 1hr the same.I did put another satnav module in about a month ago but that worked right up until i installed DAB.Re checked all the cables plus MOST cabled that had to be linked up to original ones but still nothing.Did notice though i unplugged the MOST optic cables from the amp and found one of them would flash red but the nav optic and DAB most optic does not but when i changed the nav unit a while back im sure i see it flashing then.I also unplugged the MOST optic cable from the CD player in the dash that did not flash until i wiggaled the cable about then stopped again.
Can someone put me on the right path hear thank you.

Ok so everything on your MOST loop is not communicating. I would be double checking everything you've unplugged is plugged in securely. You might've bent a fibre cable and killed the system. You should've only disconnected the cables coming out of the amp or dvd drive as that's where you place the splitter cables.

right does anyone no where the optic cable first connects to.Got a feeling i might have to lay new optic cable from front to back .Got red light flashing from the multi cd player in glove box after that nothing flashing from any components in the rear.satnav,amp,dab units.

Shouldn't matter which is first but the system works as a ring so if any unit is not working or not powered up the whole system doesn't work. The light goes out from one unit to the input of the next unit and so on. If the new MOST cable is not connected up correctly it will mean none of the components will work correctly.

Thank everyone for yer help.Found the prob with mine but might help to share as this could happen to someone else.The power /speaker cables that go into the large purple clip plug that goes into the amp in the boot left hand side have worked their way loose ,causing the power to be intermittent this made the MMI unit shut down .I made sure all the connectors where home and lovely a working MMI again.
