    Hi

I've located and USED ecu with the same part number, but now I need to get the PIN from it.

    1. If I'm to plug the USED ecu (yes there will be a error regarding the immobiliser), but using a Vag K+ Can cable read the PIN number
    2. Use the Ross-Tech Vag-Com cable to sync the USED ecu (Immobilizer III ECU Swapping - Ross-Tech Wiki)

Any other way I can obtain the PIN of the USED ecu?

You are trying to re-invent the wheel. To buy the VAG Tacho system that allows you to extract the PIN from a used ECU is thousands of pounds to buy legally and then you need a legally purchased full VCDS cable. Either get a mobile key specialist to come out and do it or take the car with new ECU to a VW dealer who will do it for you. Take the wipers and scuttle trim off first to save you money plus it stops you getting back into the car at the dealer only to find they have cracked the windscreen for you but nobody knows nuffin about it M8, like it when it came in ini't
