It seems everyone except McLaren could see that Hamiltons tyres were shot !!!!

This could prove very costly for the young Brit

There was only one reason they didnt..... politics!

I wouldn't be surprised if Alonso gave McLaren an ultamatum, and this time they have sat up and listened.

I dont think there was anything underhand in it really, just a complete balls up, he should of been in the lap before as it was obvious he was struggling. Pitstops these days seem to be virtually solely based upon fuel strategy so i'd expect they were trying to keep to their fuel usage stratey formulated before the race began but with tyres too old to cope. I really really doubt McLaren care anymore what Alonso thinks and hope he'll agree to leave at the end of the season. For one thing, Hamilton is too much of a PR cash cow as it stands, even more so if he won this year, sponsors would be queueing up to give the team money! If someone of Alonso's undoubted skill can throw their toys (and I mean ALL their toys!) out of the pram because their rookie team mate is doing so well then he dosent deserve the teams respect, nor mine! He's too far up his own backside and because the team isnt 100% kissing his butt he's not happy, and he certainly is going to make a cruddy team mate if he cant be bothered to help a rookie learn the ropes, just because he's challenging you, he's a coward in my view! Throwing his helmet about & smashing a door off the hinges in his garage because he looses pole position, he desrves to lose in my view! Bring on Brazil, you can bet your bottom dollar McLaren will be looking to make no mistakes there!

I think it is a for gone conclusion that a McLaren driver will win. The odds on Kimi winning are low, but I can hope.

It was an excellent race on Sunday, F1 can get a tad boring, bring on the rain please!!!

As for Lewis, it was all their fault Hamilton's too, he was driving despite having dirty mirrors (he said he could not see his de-laminated tyre) he knew his car was handling badly when Truli (I think) a back marker re passed him. McLaren were being greedy pushing it like Shumacher did last year I think at the same circuit on crap tyres.

Vettel was the man and Button, both excellent drives, though of course Kimi was superb
    One German, Two Italian.
    It's a Mercedes Benzzzz though

Have to say, this is what I thought when I was watching it! Ridiculous that they left him out there lap after lap with tyres like that. He was having a fairly serious wrestling match round some of the corners from what I could see and he was clearly off the pace he had earlier in the race. Such a daft thing for the team to have let happen to ANY of their cars, ever.
