Has anyone go an ECU pinout diagram for the BKP 2.0tdi,

Getting coolant temp sender signal too high

(Another thread relating to the symptoms and issues is floating about)

Looking the pinout to do wiring tests to and from the ECU

Checking for shorts, continuity , etc.

Or even if you know which pins are for the coolant temp that would do too

    Thanks

    5v at the signal wire,

All else failed I was going to hardwire to the ECU to rule out possible wiring fault

have you tried it with the engine off, but the ignition on ?

is the coolant clean ? no sign of rust ?

Are the fans running when they shouldn't be ? low fan & high ? Are they running continuously ?

Yip 5v from the signal wire and ground on the other

    Coolant seems ok

And fans appear to work as should

The main issue I'm having is hard to start and runs rough, but disconnect the CTS and starts on the button and runs like a dream (just black smoke)

Connect the sensor back in returns to hard to start and running rough

Have you got a fault reader like the autel vag505 to check the coolant temp in live data ?

I know its a new sensor, have you exchanged it for another one ? It could be the new sensor is faulty
