    Hi all,
Just about to pick up my new car, a 2002 A4 TDI SE 130 Avant and cant wait. However the car is silver and Im therefore planning to get the lower section of the car colour coded.
Whilst Im doing this, im sure I read somewhere that you can replace the front lower bumper section with a lowered sportier version. Can anyone advise / recomend anything? Ill be putting on RS6 18"ers as well and dont know whether to go with the RS6 style or the new RS4.
Also, The difference between the sport and SE suspension, I believe the sport is lowered and uprated? Is this soley springs and shocks or is there more to it? I may want to upgrade the suspension in the future as i like the low look, and have heard that the sport drives better. Is it cheaper to get replacement sport components or get a kit from Koni etc?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi
RS4 wheels look cool as long as you can afford them! You can buy P.I. branded sports springs on e-bay, which do a good job. They make the car look lower without sacrificing ride quality.

you know what i have exactly the same problem....

bought a beautiful 1.8T SE however have discovered that the ride height is slightly higher than the sport model... i have the 16" standard wheels on it at the moment but am concerned that by putting on 18" RS6/RS8s the car would look stupid due to the ride height??? its just that 've heard horror stories of cars being lowered and it ruining the handling setup??

one more thing... as my car has grey plastic on the lower half of the bumpers and doors, i have seen other models that are colour coded and have lower front/rear bumpers?? just like the s-line models on a 54 reg??? where can i get the lower front/rear bumper trim to match??? can i just take off the grey lower section of my bumper, and fit the new part??

    Cheers Paul,
Ill have a look for those springs, do you know if the shocks will need replaced also? If so, can you replace them with the ones from the standard a4 sport? I havent checked yet, but it may be cheaper to just get other uprated shocks from monroe or koni or soemthing.
Do you know where you can get the s-line style lower front bumper section?
