    Default 2014 S3 saloon clutch problems – 07-09-2015,09:26 PM
    Hi all, any help appreciated!!
    I have the S3 saloon (manual 6 speed box) I have had the car remapped to 370 bhp but the clutch dosnt seem to be handling the extra power? The clutch seems to be slipping a little under hard acceleration. I thought it may have been the map so I had it removed 3 times but it is showing no probs when standard? This is why I think the clutch just isn't strong enough. Any ideas as to a different clutch that can cope?

    Hi, Have you spoken to the company that remapped it? you have mentioned its up 70bhp, is this a Stage 1 as this quote seems high? Any reputable remap should still be within Manufacturers tolerances?
    On Revo website they recommend clutch upgrade for Stage 2!
