Vw pd130 remap copy to audi pd130???

Hi. Got a question. My friend bought a vw passat highline 1.9tdi pd 130 5speed manual 04plate its remaped. Can i copy map to my audi a4 b6 1.9tdi pd 130 quattro 6speed manual? Thanks in advance.

no, you need a computer that will download and then upload a map. best to talk to a mapper as they have the kit to do it.

I think download software get ebay cable download map from that car and put on my one.

It won't work properly, the a4 has an extra output and it will run the fan continuously- you can disconnect it though ! There are many versions of EDC15 ecu's and whilst they are capable to run the PD engine fine, there are many hardware and software differences ! Best would be to have the original soft from your car modified and uploaded back to the car...the 1.9Tdi has been done to death so prices are relatively small £150 will get you a half decent map ! Where abouts are you in the country ?
You can also brick the ECU with cheap tools if you don't know what you're doing !

Hi adamss24. Also read what blacksmoke sell maps for 50£ which ones raly good and easy to put on as is looks on website. Alao fobmyself sound dogy to put map from diff car.
