    Hello..

    I'm trying to adapt the climatronic on my A6 2.0 tdi from 2005

    After finding a cheap climatronic, i pulled out my manual one, and connected the new one, and i'm facing this log's on vcds..

    The Climatronic shows OFF on both displays, and also the only 2 functions that are working are the drefosting rear and front window's..

    I know that i have CP, and has to be dealed by an audi shop..

    By the way, i've tried to make "Basic Setting" and it was an error:

    ####
    22:55:12 Group 001: Potentiometer && Flap Alignment
    Grundeinstellung durchgefuehrt Error

    It isn't just as easy swapping the controllers, the whole heating system is completely different.

    As chris states, there are a lot of wiring harness changes required and you need to replace the housing that holds the heater matrix & aircon matrix for the comfort version (you will have the basic version fitted) To swap that out you need to remove the center console & dash, you also need to add the missing sensors. Basic to climate is a big installation and not really worth the effort, as your not gaining much.
