    hi everyone,

this is my first audi and i am taking delivery to it tomorrow late afternoon after work!! I have had only bmws before, switching from a 535d GT.

I am very excited but also a bit nervous. I fell in love with the a7 and now i hope i won't regret it .

Also I will have to learn a lot about the systems, what the car can do, etc.

Grateful if i can learn from you all.

    Look forward to it!!

The first question i have is: do the a7 owners get together at all? if not perhaps it will be good to have a meet now and then, cruise together, exchange experience/views and ultimately have some fun!

Great car, you will love it - no need to be nervous!

Not had an A7 get together yet but could be a good idea, I don't think there are many of us though and we are spread out quite a lot so could be difficult but you never know. I'd be up for it.

What spec have you gone for?

    Hi guys,

    Sorry for late reply.

It is Sepang Blue. I'll mention what I didn't go for as it's easier. Parking, ambient lightening, entertainment packs and supersports seats. Apart from that it has pretty much everything. Had the car for 24h and I just can't stop driving and admiring it.

I do have few issues getting by with the MMI which I can't connect on the phone. On the app on the phone is keep telling me that MMI is not connected.

Facebook doesn't seem to be on the list of my services.

My Audi account - the car is Black Edition but in the profile is recognised as SE Executive. Should I delete and add the car again?

Satnav - after I enter the postcode how do I select the street, number etc for a more presise location?

Couldn't figure out yet how to set up the wifi hot spot.

My major concern is the 21'' alloys. They are so low profile. The ride is bumpy occasionally but most of the time is quite impressive, however i am worried that with such a low profile will it be safe to do lots of motorway miles? Or will I crack them from bad roads?

Sorry to many questions but appreciate your time and patience if you guys want to give me a hand .

Re meets, I would love to get involved and have some fun with them. Would be a good way to spend a nice weekend away somewhere now and then

On the phone app, I'm sure I had to enter a code from the PC.
Satnav-once you put in the postcode, it should shows a screen with street etc and you scroll down to enter the details.
The wifi hot spot needs a separate SIM card. All the connection settings are under telephone then settings.
Alloys won't crack unless you really hit a big hole and with low profile tyres you would also have a burst tyre.

For the MMI app, you need to enter your Audi Connect code, I think you get it from your myaudi account.

I think Facebook has been dropped from the MMI system which makes sense as its dangerous in my opinion.

On the satnav, enter your postcode then press the bottom right softkey and you can enter street and house number.

The wifi hotspot needs a separate SIM and should set itself up when the SIM is in.

Im sure you alloys will be fine unless you hit something really deep.

I love the sepang blue have you got any pictures to share?

Mayday pin? iirc it's a 6 digit pin you need.

It's easiest to upload pics to photo bucket or something similar and add links from there

As Mitchy says, it's a 6 digit pin. Might get it now you have a SIM installed. Log in from your computer and try entering a destination. This should get it to produce the pin.
