    Default Do I need this bracket? – 28-10-2007,05:45 PM
    I am retrofitting a plastic radiator/ lock support on my Golf as the North American one is made of metal and I cannot mount my new headlights with it.

    I have gotten the rad support already, but I found a picture on the net (not mine, but thanks) with what appears to be a bracket mounted between the lock support and the bumper rebar.



    I am not really sure where exactly and how it is mounted, but what I really want to know is if I really need it? Some on this side of the pond have mounted the plastic rad support and not used this bracket, but I am not so sure that it was a good idea...

    What say you?
