    Hi Forum,

Having a bit of bother finding out the disc size for my 2007 2.7Tdi.
I am needing front and rear and have already been sent the wrong size and un-vented rears.
I have tried ECP and they state solid disc for the rear but they are vented.
    Ta,
    Deano.

You need to check the PR code on the sticker in the boot.

Your looking for something like 1LT

I found out my disc size by simply using a ruler against the outside of the wheel, the difference between the sizes available is quite visible/noticeable

The other problem you may run into is when the last owners upgrade the brakes, so you will have no idea what they have fitted!

    Found out the size guy's.
They are 347mm on the front and 330mm on the rear and vented all round.
Standard size for the 2.7 and 3.0 inc the quattro.

    Yours must be S-Line?

IIRC my 3.0 quattro (SE) has 321 / 302 , front vented, rear solid.

It is a Le Mans spec model. Can't see how they should have different sizes between the SE and s-line if they are the same power.

The size of brakes that the SE comes with are not inadequate its just that the S-Line / Le Mans comes with uprated brakes.

    The 2006 on-line brochure states only apply to 3.2 FSi & 3.0TDi, page 11.

Audi tends to change what it includes every so often, perhaps the 2.7 TDi due to being a V6 was also included.

I know for sure what I have is correct for my car as have all PR code data for it, more than what is on the VIN sticker in spare wheel well/service book .

    I cross ref'd codes when fitting discs/pads.
