On a long run (2 hrs or so of motorway) the coolant is pressurising and pushing the coolant level down below the minimum line level in the coolant filler tank. As a result, when I next start the car, say the following morning, the "STOP!" warning flashes up. I stop the engine, unscrew the filler cap to release the pressure, which raises the water level and restart the engine and all is OK......However, sometimes I have to add some coolant to raise the level enough above the minimum line.

This issue has been ongoing for around two years.

A few months back though, after a nice dry night, I noticed a damp patch on the floor - coolant is seaping out of the chassis area by the diesel cooler. Has anyone had any experiance of this problem and the cause of the leak? Its not a huge amount of coolant leaking. Its definatley coolant and not diesel.

    Cheers, Kev :-)
