Audi A4 Saloon 2009 Newbie with a few questions

Hi all here,

this is is my very first Audi and what a car it is we have purchased the A4 Saloon S-Line SE in White and it looks and drives absolutely fantastic, really love the car and don't know why we went anywhere else before lol

We have now had the car 4 days and we decided to have a small road trip and stay over in Dunfermline, when we parked the car at the hotel and opened the boot we noticed a small patch of rust forming in the very right hand corner along from the boot release button, it's an unusual place for this to start and it may just be surface colouring. Is this something which could be repaired by Audi? before we recieved the car the dealership had the wheel arches repaired which were also rusting away which was good of them and all the Alloys refurbished (great service)

We have also been offered 3 types of insurance, can anyone advise if they have taken out the extra cover and is it worthwhile?

How old is the car?
I'm in my first year as an Audi owner too, a 2010 audi A4 S Line Quattro and loving it!
I have an issue with rust in the roof gutter (just speckles at this stage)
I am in the middle of getting Audi to look at it because the bodywork comes with a 12 year warranty.
Probably worth asking the question of your Dealership? Mine is being looked at by an Audi authorised bodyshop.
No idea about insurance sorry.

Hi mate, it's a 59 plate

I've read Audi has a 12 year corrosion warranty but it's only for internal parts.... I think lol

I was told that it is all the bodywork as long as not caused my paint defect which is covered by a 3 year warranty only.
No harm in asking. I'm going to chase mine up this week they've been sitting on it for a fortnight.

Emailed the pics of the rust and the headlight washer sticking out and dealership has asked to have the car booked in the body shop in a few weeks

which is fantastic service from Audi

I chased up Audi yesterday too and am now book in for Monday to get it done under warranty result! :-)
